Man, if I teamed up with some people doing an ICO animation, I'm so in. Who knows, I might actually do keyframes on these for fun!
I really need to get away from the over saturation dealio.
Anyways, here's ICO and Yorda.
ICO is such a great, lovely game, so good. So simple, yet so deep. Everyone should just get a ps2 and PLAY IT!! GAAH!
Yorda is simply the most awesome looking heroines there ever is, fragile, mysterious, propably dangerous. That's what I like about these type of characters. She totally inspired the look on Haley (Dusk's Flight) and Mave (Arrow)
while Ico inspired the look of Ike (Arrow) and Chester (Serpent's Grave)

Haha, yeah Ico was BROWN! Blegh I didn't like that much to be honest. There's nothing "artistic" about a limited palate unless it looks good. They did a better job in Shadow of the Collosus, but the game still felt so drab...
Nice painting, though! You have a great understanding of light.

Great art does not break with the past. It breaks with the present by emulating the best of the past.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
